Every metric on this page comes from a daily snapshot of all published Customer Success jobs on TopCSJobs. The snapshot runs automatically after our ATS sync completes each afternoon, so the numbers always reflect the live state of the CS job market that day.
Roles qualify as Customer Success if "customer success" or "onboarding" appears in the title, with an additional filter that removes adjacent job families (support engineering, account executives, sales roles).
Week-over-week deltas compare the most recent snapshot against the closest snapshot from seven days earlier. They give a directional signal, not a precise count of openings and closings — individual roles can appear and disappear within a week. Use the trend to gauge whether the market is expanding or contracting, not to count specific headcount changes.
The underlying data is captured once per day at 12:30 Paris time, immediately after our ATS sync runs. The page itself revalidates hourly, so you will always see the most recent daily snapshot within an hour of it being written.
All numbers come from live Customer Success job listings aggregated on TopCSJobs. We pull directly from company ATS feeds — Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, SmartRecruiters, Workable, and Workday — covering over 200 CS-focused employers. No estimates, no scraping.
We include roles with "customer success" or "onboarding" in the title, then apply a keyword filter that removes non-CS job families (support engineers, sales engineers, account executives, etc.). Titles like CSM, Senior CSM, CS Manager, Director of CS, VP of CS, Head of CS, and Onboarding Specialist all qualify.
