Linkwell Health, the premier consumer experience company serving health plans and health services organizations, seeks a proven, passionate, ambitious VP of Client Engagement to join its fast-growing Client Success Team. In this role, you will work directly with clients as the primary relationship manager responsible for client satisfaction, retention, and growth as well as coordinating with internal Linkwell teams to deliver world-class customer success and results. This position reports to Linkwell’s SVP of Client Success.

In this position, your key performance areas (KPAs) will include:


  • Lead strategy development and implement best practices for your defined book of business
  • Contribute to Linkwell Health’s overall company strategy, goal-setting, and planning
  • Collaborate with all Linkwell teams to ensure flawless delivery of world-class healthcare engagement products, content marketing, customer success, and business results
  • Contribute to the development of digital and engagement marketing best practice processes and tools

Customer Success and Account Management

  • Manage the day-to-day relationships of current accounts, as well as support of new accounts as they move from sales prospects to active accounts that you will lead
  • Serve as the operational lead between the client and Linkwell’s product delivery and editorial team by defining goals and KPIs, maintaining project scope and timelines, and generally managing client expectations
  • Develop and nurture relationships with key executives and client leads and maintain ongoing communication with executive sponsors
  • Lead client reporting discussions that track the program’s KPIs and ROI, on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis
  • Demonstrate expertise in member/consumer healthcare engagement, digital marketing, thought leadership and strategic thinking that goes beyond the client’s internal capabilities

Strategic Account Development

  • Create and execute comprehensive strategic account plans that drive retention, renewals and expansions
  • Identify, lead and close opportunities to meet the revenue target for your book of business
  • Maintain thorough understanding of clients’ businesses overall, including relevant news, financial reporting, enrollment trends, and engagement, content, and marketing challenges
  • Identify opportunities for account expansion with additional client business lines as well as appropriate upsells with current program

Sales Development

  • Partner with the Sales team when needed on new client pitches, including relevant case studies from current accounts and general subject matter and industry expertise
  • Support of close-in opportunities to ensure seamless transition from prospect to active account launch
  • Lead development of proposals and SOWs for existing customer expansions

In this position, your key performance indicators (KPIs) will include:

  • Retain and grow revenue across your key accounts
  • Meet the revenue target for your book of business
  • Maintain and execute strategic plans for each account
  • Achieve high client satisfaction

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • 10+ years of full-time experience in a client engagement/customer success / content and/or digital marketing and/or consumer engagement domain account management
  • Extensive domain expertise in healthcare and digital marketing, content marketing, and consumer engagement, including a strong understanding of health insurance and health services (benefits) companies and digital content marketing is a must
  • Extremely crisp and strong communication skills—in person, on phone/video calls, in email, and in client presentations
  • Pro-level abilities with client presentations, spreadsheets, and written document software
  • Strong understanding of analytics tools like Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Facebook Business Manager, YouTube Studio, and email marketing reports
  • Innate ability to look at disparate data sources, turn them into clear and easy-to-understand insights, and then present them to clients and answer questions

This position is fully remote but will require occasional travel to client locations and Linkwell’s New York office. Salary commensurate with experience. This position is bonus/commission-eligible.
