eCivis – Customer Success Manager, US, Canada, Remote

Job Description

eCivis is looking for a passionate learner with experience working in local government or in client-facing roles for business-to-business SaaS companies to join our team as a Client Success Manager. You will play a critical role in allowing clients to achieve their desired outcomes and ultimately be successful in adopting our platform to manager grants. You will own the customer’s overall experience through client advocacy and reduction of churn. This is a unique opportunity to have a tremendous and direct impact on annual recurring revenue by driving adoption and expansion.

What You’ll Do

• Teach Clients. You will onboard new customers after implementation, assisting in to transfer of our client’s workflow and data to our platform.
• Master the Product. You will develop expert-level product knowledge of the platform.
• Advocate Clients. You will continuously support application usage throughout the customer journey — building high customer satisfaction and driving adoption. You will develop trusting and lasting relationships with different customer stakeholders and proactively and continually evaluate client health and adoption status.
• Partner with Clients. Create and iterate joint strategic action plans with clients and host client business reviews to evaluate accomplishments.
• Crush Your Goals: You will minimize revenue & logo churn while creating & identifying opportunities to upsell & cross-sell; increase grant effectiveness with technology and best practices.; reduce or eliminate customers’ single audit findings; and increase the number of awarded grants and overall grant revenue.
• Manage Processes. Develop and execute protocols, playbooks, and calls to action. Establish formal desired outcomes based on best practices for grant management.
• Share Your Expertise. You will prepare content and presentations for customers and communicate with internal teams including Implementation, Sales, Product Engineering, etc., hosting webinars, training, and ongoing support tutorials.

Who You Are

Education & Experience

• Experience in working for or with state or local government, particularly in the areas of federal grant management is strongly desired.
• Experience in client-facing roles for business-to-business or business-to-government technology or SaaS-based product companies is preferable.

Skills:

• You are familiar with CRM, Project Management, Support Desk, and general business applications, including MS Office, desired.
• You have proven Problem Solving & Analytical Skills
• You are high on learnability & passion for knowledge
• You’re willing to take initiative & challenge the status quo
• You’re a Team Player with the ability to be the voice of the customer inside the organization
• You have Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to train and coach clients in technology and business process content.
• You are comfortable in a high-accountability, high-visibility role working with government managers and officials under deadlines and resource constraints,
• You can work remotely and independently with up to 10% travel

Location: This role is 100% remote, with up to 10% travel. Work from anywhere in the US and Canada within a Central Time Zone!
